The company’s mission is to make transportation safer, more accessible, and more sustainable, ultimately improving quality of life for people everywhere.About The RoleIn this hybrid role, you will serve as a key member of Waymo’s People team, reporting directly to the Head of Executive Recruiting. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the recruitment of senior executives and specialized professionals who can contribute to Waymo’s growth and innovation. You will develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify top-tier talent, build and maintain strong relationships with executive clients and decision-makers, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process. Your role will involve managing end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiations. As an external representative of Waymo, you will cultivate a professional presence in the industry, leveraging your network and expertise to attract passive talent. Your efforts will directly impact Waymo’s leadership team, ensuring the company continues to attract and retain the best talent in the technology and autonomous driving sectors.Qualifications5+ years of experience in executive search, talent advising, and managing full-cycle recruitment processes for senior roles (VP+)3+ years of experience within the technology sector, either in a corporate environment or within an executive search firmProven success in closing senior-level candidates and negotiating complex compensation packagesExperience recruiting across diverse subject areas, including emerging and innovative fieldsBachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent practical experienceDeep understanding of the technology industry, particularly in AI/ML or cloud technologies (preferred)Strong network of technical and executive talentExperience collaborating with internal stakeholders and external research teams to deliver high-quality search resultsResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute strategic recruiting plans to attract top-tier senior executives and specialized professionalsBuild and sustain strong relationships with executive clients and key decision-makers to understand organizational goals and talent needsLead the full-cycle recruitment process for executive roles, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and closingServe as a strategic partner to hiring managers, providing guidance and insights throughout the recruitment lifecycleConduct candidate assessments, interview preparation, and facilitate interview processesRepresent Waymo externally, establishing a reputation as a subject matter expert in executive talent acquisitionNegotiate and finalize employment offers, ensuring alignment with company compensation strategiesSource passive candidates through networking, industry events, and targeted outreachEnsure a high-touch, respectful, and positive candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment processBenefitsCompetitive base salary range of $196,000 to $248,000 USD, commensurate with experience and locationParticipation in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus programEquity incentive plan providing long-term ownership opportunitiesComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverageGenerous paid time off and holiday policiesProfessional development and continuous learning opportunitiesFlexible hybrid work arrangements to support work-life balanceAccess to innovative projects at the forefront of autonomous vehicle technologyEqual OpportunityWaymo is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
