What Youâll DoAs the Warranty Manager, youâll act as the critical link between the Manufacturer's Warranty Department and our dealer service centers.
Youâll be responsible for managing, reconciling, and optimizing the entire warranty claims process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and maximum reimbursement. Oversee the end-to-end warranty claims process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Reconcile financial claims with manufacturer payments. Manage rejected claims through manual appeal processes, in coordination with the National Aftersales Manager (NAM). Analyze warranty data to spot trends and improvement opportunities. Communicate with manufacturers, Dealer Principals, and Fleet teams on warranty-related issues. Collaborate with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure efficient claim processing. Maintain detailed records and reports of all claims.
Control and document the destruction of warranty parts. Stay up to date with manufacturer warranty policies and technical service bulletins. Identify and implement process improvements to maximize warranty reimbursements and support high customer satisfaction. Ensure no unauthorized warranty work is conducted without proper approval. Who You AreYou are detail-oriented, analytical, and thrive in fast-paced environments. You have solid technical knowledge of automotive systems, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication skills. You bring 5â7 years of experience as a Warranty Manager (minimum 3â5 years required), ideally in the automotive sector. You hold a Diploma (minimum), though a University Degree is preferred.
You understand manufacturer warranty procedures and policies. Youâre experienced in using warranty management software and systems. Youâre skilled in problem-solving, negotiation, and effective communication across internal and external stakeholders. You prioritize tasks effectively and can navigate complex processes with clarity. Youâre proactive about process improvement and value accuracy and compliance.
