Expatriate product development manager

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Expatriate Product Development Manager based in Owode. the manager creates product strategies,defines the overall product vision and strategy,oversees the entire development lifecycle from ideation to launch, collaborates with cross-functional teams like engineering, marketing,and sales,The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing product development lifecycles, conducting market research, leading research and development (R&D) initiatives, and collaborating with sales teams to align products with customer needs. The role involves analyzing trends, identifying opportunities, and ensuring products meet quality and performance standards. Qualifications Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisionsProficiency in market research and research and development (R&D) methodologiesExperience in product management, including planning and execution of product lifecyclesKnowledge of sales processes and the ability to collaborate with sales teams to improve product offeringsExcellent communication and leadership skillsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing and sales or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus)MSc chemistry, Applied/industrial chemistry, product development qualifications with practice experience.Must have the experience in a chemical product manufacturing company.Familiarity with the home care industry or government administration is advantageous
