Expeditor – Project Procurement Location: North Holland/ NetherlandsHours: Full-time (40 hours/week)What you’ll do:You will own the flow of materials, services and documents from purchase order issuance all the way through to delivery. You’re the glue between procurement, suppliers, manufacturing / service execution, and internal project stakeholders. Your mission: ensure nothing is late, nothing missing, everything meets spec.Key ResponsibilitiesTrack & monitor all purchase orders: status, delivery dates, documentation & inspections. Proactively chase the suppliers to stay on schedule.Coordinate kick-off meetings with suppliers; make sure all specs, deliverables, required certificates & drawings are aligned from the start.Ensure all required documentation (certificates, approvals, quality / safety inspections etc.) is delivered on time, reviewed, correct, and accepted.Maintain constant communication with internal teams (procurement, engineering, project management) to flag delays, anticipate risks, and adjust plans.Issue regular status reports (internal & external) on PO progress, document status, supplier performance.Perform supplier visits (remote or on‐site as needed) to inspect progress, verify milestones, and ensure quality and compliance.Ensure all deliveries (materials, services) meet agreed standards, incoterms, contract obligations.Support process improvements—find ways to reduce lead times, improve supplier reliability, streamline documentation/workflows.What You BringAt least 5 years’ experience in expediting / procurement / material follow-up (ideally in offshore / oil & gas / large‐scale industrial / EPC-project environment).Technical education (Technical College / Bachelor in relevant field) + solid knowledge of procurement processes.Strong familiarity with Incoterms, import/export documentation, contracts / purchase orders, supplier management.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to track many moving parts simultaneously.Excellent verbal & written English.
