Take part in the Forvis Mazars adventure and join our team as a senior accountant.Your taskPerform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities in accordance with Swiss GAAPEnsure accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial informationPrepare statutory financial statements in line with Swiss GAAP standardsEnsure compliance with applicable standards, rules, and internal controlsStay updated with the latest developments in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.Manage relationships with client auditors and respond to audit requestsSupervise and train junior team members and support them in regular activities such as vendor invoice processing, bank account reconciliation, and account reconciliationAssist with implementing new accounting policies, standards, and guidelinesIdentify areas for process improvement and implement enhancementsSafeguard operations and maintain client confidentiality by protecting financial informationConduct variance analysisLead client meetings and ensure ongoing communicationYour profileBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience4 to 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, ideally with exposure to international clientsThorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliationSwiss accounting standards knowledge is mandatoryIFRS knowledge is highly advantageousProficiency in ERP systems and Excel; recent experience with SAP (S4Hana), NetSuit or Workday, is a plus.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French (German is a plus)Ability to present complex analyses clearly, with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organizationStrong ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to strict reporting deadlinesWhy Forvis MazarsEntrepreneurial spiritAbility to take initiative and be a force of proposalPart-time work modelsFlexible working hours with the possibility of telecommutingCareer development and training (funding of a wide range of in-house and continuing education programs)Possibility to work abroad (Forvis Mazars International Mobility Program)At Forvis Mazars inclusion and diversity are central to our values.
