A Snapshot of Your Day As an AI/ML Engineer in the Applied AI Solutions team, you will use the range of statistical, machine learning and LLM techniques, tools, models and agents (‘AI’) to enable the company’s digital finance operations by automation. You will be a key contributor to Siemens Energy finance center of excellence for applied AI and automation. You’ll work closely with solution architects, product managers, other data and AI engineers and finance experts/stakeholders to prototype, build and test scalable, production-ready AI solutions. Your day will involve deep thinking, coding and designing time, including involve Finance stakeholder interactions, experimentation, technique and algorithm selection, model training or querying, accuracy evaluations, or integration of AI into digital finance platforms.How You’ll Make An ImpactDevelopment and deployment of AI-driven solutions to address business challenges such as forecasting, anomaly detection, and document classificationDesign and implementation of data pipelines and cloud-based architectures for experimentation, model training, validation, and testingIntegration of AI components into automation workflows, digital finance platforms, and microservice-based architecturesRapid prototyping of AI models and contribution to MVP development within Agile teamsContinuous evaluation and optimization of AI performance for accuracy, scalability, and compliance with data privacy and security standardsCollaboration with AI and data engineers to design reusable components, share best practices, and mentor junior team membersWhat You BringUniversity degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience in developing and deploying AI-based automation solutions in applied business environments, ideally within the Finance domainExpertise in Python, AWS, Snowflake, and AI frameworks for production-grade implementationStrong decision-making skills balancing enterprise architecture, budget, and resource constraints, with experience leading engineering teamsSolid understanding of Agile principles and modern software development practicesCommitment to continuous learning and staying current with state-of-the-art AI advancementsAbout The TeamIn our Business Functions we enable our organization to reach their targets by providing best-in class services and solutions in the areas of IT, HR, Finance, Real Estate, Strategy & Technology and more.Who is Siemens Energy?
