Experienced Grant Writer

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Grant Writer with a proven record of securing competitive grants and funding partnerships from international donors, development agencies, and impact investors. The ideal candidate will be skilled in turning innovative ideas into well-structured, fundable proposals that align with Clargreen’s business model and sustainability goals.Key Responsibilities🔹 Research and identify relevant funding opportunities from public and private sources (grants, innovation challenges, accelerator funds, and impact investors).🔹 Develop high-quality concept notes, proposals, and funding applications tailored to donor or investor requirements.🔹 Collaborate with Clargreen’s leadership and technical teams to design projects, budgets, and logical frameworks that align with strategic objectives.🔹 Build and maintain a database of funding prospects and track proposal submissions and outcomes.🔹 Support strategic partnerships and co-development of proposals with collaborators and industry partners.🔹 Ensure all written submissions meet the highest standards of clarity, coherence, and alignment with funder priorities.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Development Studies, Business, Climate Change, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or a related field.At least 5 years of hands-on grant writing experience with evidence of successful awards or secured funding.Proven ability to write competitively for innovation grants, sustainability funds, or climate finance mechanisms.Strong understanding of sustainability, green entrepreneurship, climate-smart agriculture, and environmental innovation.Excellent communication, analytical, and proposal development skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced start-up environment.What We OfferOpportunity to be part of a fast-growing sustainability start-up shaping the future of green innovation in Africa.A collaborative environment that values creativity, initiative, and measurable impact.Flexible work arrangements and room for professional growth.Apply before December 12, 2025📩 To apply, use the link https://forms.gle/u7T6qPAwrgeQTsgR9 This will request your CV and samples of funded proposals you have written.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
