Experienced Python Engineer - Healthcare AI PlatformThe MissionObesity and diabetes are exploding globally, yet only a fraction of people get professional nutritional support. At BiometrIQ, we're changing that.We build tools that help 400+ nutritional coaches across Belgium and the Netherlands deliver deeply personalized, data-driven care. Our platform transforms wearable data, biomarkers, and lab results into actionable health journeys - making professional nutrition coaching more accessible, precise, and impactful.We've raised €1M from top Belgian investors and we're scaling fast: expanding to France and Wallonia, preparing for Series A in 2026, and building toward an AI-led future of personalized nutrition.The OpportunityYou'll be our third engineer joining a small, high-impact team (2 developers + product manager). This means:- Real ownership: You'll own entire domains, not just tickets- Shape the product: Work directly with founders, influence technical direction- Build the AI future: We're not AI-powered *yet* - but that's where we're heading in 2026 and beyond. Help us get there.- Greenfield challenges: Design brand-new systems from scratch (consult planning, AI-driven summarization)- Tangible impact: Your code helps people transform their health and livesWhat you'll actually do:- Month 1: Help finish our platform rewrite (FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Vue3)- Months 3-6: Build a new system for consult planning, organization, and intelligent follow-up- 6+ months: Make the platform smarter - integrate LLMs, add automation, reduce manual work for coachesYou'll be primarily backend (Python/FastAPI) but comfortable jumping into frontend (Vue3) when needed. Not full-stack, but not scared of `
