What will you do?As an Experienced Ship Broker within the Owners Department at Vertom Group, you play a key role in the commercial success of our fleet. You are an energetic negotiator with strong market insight and a solid network in the maritime industry. With your proactive mindset and commercial drive, you connect ship owners and charterers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the best possible results for all parties involved.Your analytical skills, industry knowledge, and ability to build long-term relationships enable you to thrive in a dynamic and international environment. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to the continued growth and professionalization of Vertom Group.As an Experienced Ship Broker, you will be responsible for the following tasks and duties:Negotiate and secure spot and long-term chartering contracts for vessels within our commercial management.Analyse market trends, freight rates, and vessel positions to identify business opportunities.Advise clients on optimal transport conditions and competitive freight rates.Maintain and expand a strong network of ship owners, charterers, and industry stakeholders.Draft and finalize charter party agreements and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.Monitor vessel performance, market dynamics, and operational developments.Handle any disputes or claims that may arise during the execution of contracts.Ensure accurate documentation and manage all paperwork related to fixtures and chartering activities.What You Can Expect From UsAt Vertom Group, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
