You will navigate a complex product domain, understanding intricate product logic, domain constraints, and edge cases, requiring curiosity, patience, and strong analytical skills.In this role, you will take full ownership of features from concept through deployment, balancing long-term architectural considerations with short-term delivery commitments. You will contribute to architectural decisions while ensuring high-quality, reliable software is delivered on schedule. Working in an autonomous and flexible environment, you must be self-driven, organized, and proactive, pushing tasks forward with minimal supervision.The JIMAPS team consists of software and system engineers working closely together. The system engineers focus on breaking down the complexity of the product into clear requirements, while the software engineers turn those requirements into reliable, high-quality software. Together, the team delivers a strong intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance system.How you will make a meaningful contributionYour key responsibilities include:Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software solutions. Technologies and Tools:Frontend: Java Swing; secondary experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.jsBackend: Java, Maven; REST/SOAP/Websockets protocols and generally a good understanding of network: Secondary experience with Container and message queuesDeployment & Infrastructure: Git with Gerrit code review, Jenkins pipelines, Nexus for artefact management & code quality analysis with SonarQubeContribute to new product development in close alignment with product and engineering stakeholdersParticipate in architectural decisions and contribute to the evolution of our software platformManage and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructureWrite clean, testable, and well-documented codeTake ownership of features from concept to deploymentCollaborate in an agile team environment focused on delivering valueBring your world class expertise into playYou are fluent in English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Danish is an advantage but not a requirement. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague who has:A bachelor's or a master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or equivalentIdeally, a minimum of three years of relevant experience working with full stack developmentA strong background in both frontend and backend developmentA structured and detail-oriented approach to software engineeringThe ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholdersExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindsetNot a requirement, but impactful: Experience working with Intelligence Requirements Management & Collection Management (IRM&CM)As a person, you are a proactive and curious full-stack engineer who enjoys taking ownership of features end-to-end.
