Experienced Tax Accountant

Join our team at Premier Group in Lanham, MD, where we are hiring a remote full-time Experienced Tax Accountant!

What You'll Be Doing: • Review individual, business, and nonprofit tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with current tax laws. • Research complex tax issues and provide technical guidance to clients and junior staff members. • Manage client relationships through effective communication and timely completion of tax deliverables. • Assist with tax planning strategies and year-end tax preparation for individual and business clients. • Review and mentor junior staff work.

You're a Fit if You Have: • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field • 3+ years of public accounting tax experience

Preferred Qualifications: • CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential • Experience with Drake Tax Software • Advanced knowledge of individual and business tax law • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Attention to detail
