Make the link with the Legal team and other legal advisors when legal support is needed. Inform the LCIM immediately of any matters referred to the Disputes Resolution Procedure for the EPC and work-package contracts, and assist in preparing and presenting the required information. Manage the contractual aspects of the EPC and work-package contracts, keep all necessary oral and written contacts with contract representatives, and preserve the project’s rights. Anticipate and ensure the management, coordination and follow-up of claims, contract variations and disputes from the EPC and work-package contracts. Act as compliance and ethics advisor, keep records of compliance, and interface with shareholders to ensure compliance.Support projects with rational and data-driven assessments regarding costs, quality, and timelines Supervise contract management of the EPC contract and work-package contracts to achieve successful, on-budget delivery. Attend site meetings to monitor progress of technical issues, define responsibilities clearly and enable pragmatic resolution while preserving project entitlements. Establish and maintain a schedule of all contractual obligations from the EPC and work-package contracts, monitor their execution, ensure necessary meetings are planned, and draft minutes.Support projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution, ensuring accuracy and meeting expectations Support the Legal, Contract and Insurance Manager (LCIM) for any other project contract. Implement contract-management best practices. Support and be able to replace the LCIM. Support the LCIM—together with the Financial Manager, Technical Lead and Lenders’ Technical Advisor—to monitor contractor performance and reporting under financing contracts and project documents. Provide leadership and collaborate with the project-management team to identify and mitigate execution risks. Provide assistance on contract interpretation in cooperation with legal support. Support the LCIM in developing procedures and templates, and publish on the exchange platform all documents required for contract monitoring (monthly and annual reports, risk analyses, etc.). Upon LCIM request, carry out contract management and support the LCIM on any project contract. Support the project team in fostering a proactive HSE culture with subcontractors to meet legal and contractual HSE requirements. Work with the project-management team to execute essential contract responsibilities. Support the Financial Manager, Technical Lead, Project Director and Site Construction Manager on commercial and contractual matters during project execution. Work closely with the Operational Contract Manager/Claim Manager to support the formal claim-management program and assess contract risks with the Project Management Board. Work closely with the Operational Contract Manager/Claim Manager to ensure timely production and communication of all contract documentation to stakeholders.The Experience We Are Actively Looking For Proven experience in contract management within large industrial or energy projects, ideally EPC or OEM environments. Strong understanding of legal, financial and contractual principles. Solid communication and negotiation skills in both French and English. Rigor, structure, and attention to detail in contract execution. Capacity to act as a lead negotiator or support executive leadership as a subject matter expert. Technical understanding of engineering, construction or commissioning processes is an asset. An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start). Immediate availability is preferred.
