As an Express Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure efficient and effective vehicle maintenance and repairs. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry with a competitive salary and great benefits.
Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary of $17 to $20 per hour, paid semimonthly Opportunity for advancement and growth within the company Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and more Ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry standards and advancements Collaborative and supportive work environment with strong team dynamicResponsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles, including brakes, engines, transmissions, and cooling systems Conduct vehicle inspections and document any necessary repairs or maintenance Use diagnostic equipment to accurately troubleshoot and identify issues Communicate with customers to explain repairs and services needed, as well as estimated costs and completion timelines Keep track of parts inventory and place orders as needed Adhere to manufacturer and dealership safety protocols and procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and techniques through training and development opportunitiesRequirements High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of experience working as an automotive technician in a dealership or similar setting ASE certification preferred Strong mechanical and technical skills Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license with clean driving record Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug testEEOC StatementCrossroads Chevrolet is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace.
