The length of assignments can range from 6 weeks up to 6 months across multiple different Faculties.Our centralised teams perform operational functions, consolidating high volume finance transactional activities relating to the purchasing and supply of goods and services. They are responsible for all purchasing, billing, and revenue collection activity for student fees, research activities, faculties, and service divisions.Salary Bands Accounts Payable/Receivable - $50,700 to $63,900 depending on experience/qualificationsCredit Control/ Assistant Accountant - $68,600 to $84,9700 depending on experience/qualificationsPayroll - $62,401 - $72,7400 - depending on experience/qualificationHe kōrero mōu | About youYou will be comfortable handling a large volume of invoices, possess a keen eye for detail, and have robust problem-solving skills, in addition to have sound NZ Legislation knowledge and a relevant tertiary degree.You will be able to demonstrate a customer centric mindset and be able to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation, possess excellent have intermediate Excel skills and be tech savvy.Demonstrated skills and experience in end-to-end AP/AR/Credit Control, Assistant Accountant & PayrollExperience within a large complex organisationStrong knowledge of New Zealand legislation and statutory requirementsIRD & ACC knowledge would be advantageous Experience of working to tight deadlines within a high-pressure environmentExperience in aspects of ERP systems – SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft would be advantageousExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Able to build and maintain strong internal & external relationshipsAbility to self-direct, use initiative but equally work and contribute as a valued team memberHigh attention to detail and data entry skillsExcellent time management and organisational skillsQualificationsRelevant qualification, CA or working towards one.Additional InformationNgā āhuatanga kei a mātou | What we offer.
