Exterior EngineerJob Location: ChennaiExperience: 5-10 yrsJob Description / Roles & Responsibilities :Good knowledge on CAD (New PDM)Design and develop automotive bumper systems using CATIA V5.Domain : Plastics. Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings for plastic components.Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and performance requirements.Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and weight.Support prototype development and validation testing.Maintain design documentation and BOMs.5–10 years of experience in automotive plastic part design, preferably bumper systems.Proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Surface Design, Assembly Design).Knowledge of injection molding and tooling considerations.Familiarity with GD&T, DFMEA, DFM/DFA principles.
