Job Description

Category Marketing Assistant Manager position Retail, Travel Retail, FMCG industry Singapore based role, regional scope The Role Join a leading international retailer company as a Category Marketing Assistant Manager. You will drive brand relations, lead market analysis, implement and execute regional market strategies. This role is crucial in translating global brand vision into impactful local campaigns that boost sales and elevate the customer journey. Responsibilities: i. Campaign Management: Lead end-to-end marketing campaign development, collaborating on strategic plans, crafting compelling presentations, and ensuring flawless execution. ii. Performance Analysis:

Drive market trend and sales data analysis, conduct competitive reviews, and own promotion/ROI analysis reports to optimize outcomes. iii. Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate robust relationships with vendors/brands and internal global, regional, and local marketing teams, providing crucial market and competitor insights. iv. Operational and administrative support: project coordination, maintenance of product information systems, coordinate and support all aspects of new product launch activities. Essential Requirements: Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field with 3-6 years of relevant experience in marketing, category, or trade marketing within Retail, Travel Retail, or FMCG industry.

Proven background in B2B marketing activities, focusing on increasing product demand at the retail/distribution level, including hands-on experience partnering with brands or retailers. Ability to craft compelling presentations and pitch decks with strong visual storytelling and trend-based insights. Digitally savvy, capable of strategically integrating e-commerce and digital initiatives into marketing plans to secure increased brand partner investment. Proficient in presentation software (e. g. , MS Office Suite, Visio, Teams) and data analysis tools, with experience in SAP preferred. Strong understanding of the specific dynamics, regulations, and consumer trends within Confectionery, Liquor, and Tobacco (CLT) categories.

Excellent organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to multitask, manage tight timelines, and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, collaborative, and solution-oriented environment.
