Discover your exciting roleThe primary purpose of this post is to assist the engineering team in achieving the objectives of the company with respect to electrical engineering designs for both internal and external clients. This role will be located in Finland, in Exyte's new project facilities. This is a new project to Exyte and is located approx. 90 mins outside Helsinki.

Explore Your Tasks And ResponsibilitiesTo contribute to co-operative working across disciplines in accordance with the company’s procedures, and contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams, leading them when requiredTo contribute to ensuring that effective internal/external working relationships are established and maintained with clients, sub-contractors and specialist suppliers. Ensuring that confidentiality is observed and maintained when dealing with private/confidential correspondence, reports, statements, records, other documents and informationTo ensure the effective use of company resources and sub-contract packages in accordance with individual project cost plansPrepare estimates for the implementation of electrical services.

Carry out site surveys to identify the clients needs and requirements making recommendations as necessaryProduce and develop designs for electrical services. Ensure that designs meet user requirements, cost limits and time scales. Contribute to the preparation of Health and Safety method statements and risk assessments in respect of construction work as required by the project to meet current legislation. Co-ordinate with clients, other professions and members of the projects and maintenance teamsProduce tender enquiry documents in respect of contracts for the provision of electrical services.

Assist Quantity Surveyors in evaluating tender returns as may be requiredMonitor and comment on subcontractors work as may be required on individual projectsContribute to the engineering team by attending as and when required regular team meetings and courses to ensure that changes in legislation and company policies are fully complied with.

Provide a professional and high quality service in accordance with the company’s quality assurance procedures and assist in the review of standards and procedures to ensure a continuing improvement in the service provided to the company’s clientsShow Your ExpertiseA Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar relevant field At least 2 years experience in a smilar role and field, ideally within Data CentersA driver’s licence ContactYou want to be part of the Exyte team?
