We work together across our full spectrum of services and skills so that business, people and the planet can thrive together.Together, all in, to build a better working world.We are seeking for a “Senior Consultant” to join our Business Consulting team in Ankara with the following qualifications.Your Key ResponsibilitiesLead work streams, formulate high-quality, insightful and sustainable solutions to help clients accelerate business growth and streamline their operationsConduct highly complex quantitative research and analytic studies at various policy domains to support evidence-based policy making engagements.Conveying a good grasp of economic policy issues in the areas of economic development, competitiveness, foreign economic relations, and sustainability.Ensure work efficiency during all engagements by continuously improving processes, utilizing methodologies, tools, and technologiesBe responsible for parts of the final deliverables for clientsLiaising with various clients and stakeholders for potential and ongoing engagementsContribute to the preparation and facilitation of workshops, presentations, and training at client premises and within the teamWork closely with the project manager, identify, and escalate potential risks and issues to project manager along with suggested preventive or mitigating actionsContribute to a strong client relationship through effective management of interactions with client personnelSupervise and coach junior professionals, help people enhance their contribution and develop their capabilitiesConduct market research, contribute to the development of proposals, identify and escalate potential business opportunities on existing engagementsWhat We Look ForA relevant university degree, preferably in Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Political Science, Business Administration or a similar discipline from a reputable universityA relevant master’s degree is a plusAt least 3 years of professional experience in management and strategy consulting studies conducted for public sector clients in the following fields: policy analysis and design, impact evaluation and assessment, economic research and analysis, market assessment and analysis, and etc.)Specific experience in working with central and local government entities and/or IFI players Strong research and data analysis skills (both qualitative and quantitative)Strong analytical and statistical skillsSpecific experience in team management Excellent report writing skills (both in English and in Turkish)Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills (both in Turkish and in English)Demonstrated interest in analyticsCoding and programming skills are plus (Stata, R, Python, SPSS, Matlab...)Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills along with intellectual curiosityAbility to multitask in a fast-paced, often changing environmentSelf-motivated, ability to work with deadlinesStrong client and relationship-building skillsStrong work initiativeExcellent MS Office skillsNo travel restrictions inland or abroadWhat We Offer YouAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
