With over 1,800 employees across 200+ airports, we provide mission-critical rental, leasing, and maintenance services that airlines and handlers rely on every day.As a Fabricator, you’ll carry out fabrication, fitting and repairs on specialised GSE equipment while ensuring all work meets high safety and quality standards.A Snapshot Of What You Will Be Doing HereConduct fabrication and assembly, installation and fitting, quality control and maintenance and repairs.Follow service guidelines, commit to safety through Zero Harm principles and promote a safety-first approach.Utilize the wide variety of equipment and the unique nature of aviation equipment as an opportunity for you to bring a wide collection of knowledge, skills and experience to the role.Report daily to the Shift Supervisor.Collaborate with fabricators, technicians, and assistants to develop and implement effective solutions.Work with multiple unique GSE specialised equipment.Who We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you will have most of the following skills and experience:Relevant Trade Qualification in Welding/Fabrication.Previous experience with aluminum welding to AS/NZS 1665.Basic mechanical/repair aptitude advantageous.Hold a current and valid Driver's License.A strong focus on safety standards and relevant company policies & procedures.Experience working within procedural guidelines.A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.Why You'll Love Working With UsYou’ll work at our Melbourne Workshop close to the action, decisions, and leadership.
