Munshi HR Solutions Ltd. is looking for Facade Design Engineer - Mechanical/Structural/CivilJob Description / ResponsibilityDuty Time: Morning Shift - 07.00am-04.00pmPerform wind load assessments in line with AS/NZS 1170.2, including zoning, shape factors, and pressure coefficients.Structural analysis façade elements (like aluminum mullions, transoms, glass panels, fixings) using Strand7, ANSYS, or equivalent tools.Perform thermal and condensation analyses using THERM or WUFI; assess glazing performance, thermal bridges, and U-values to ensure compliance with NCC Section J and FP1.4Performance reports, ensuring full compliance with the Building Code and design intent.Collaborate closely with Australian engineers to produce full facade design packages.Review architectural drawings for facade systems.Support the production of design documentation, including:Structural & Thermal performance summaries & Facade performance reports (FP1.4 / F3P1)Assist with workflow automation using basic Python or VBA scripting to streamline design tasks.Create and maintain technical reports and drawing mark-ups using Microsoft Word and Bluebeam.Conduct technical reviews and markups of drawings, design reports, and calculation files.Maintain organized, version-controlled files and deliverables per internal QA processes.Required:The candidate must possess a strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and materials science.Educational RequirementsBachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Mechanical EngineeringBachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil EngineeringSkills Required: AutoCAD, Structural Design, Engineering design, ThermalExperience Requirements4 to 8 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Engineering Firms,Consulting FirmsAdditional RequirementsExperience in THERM, WUFI, or DesignBuilder for thermal/condensation modellingExperience in finite element modeling (Strand7, ANSYS OR Solid works)Familiarity with Facade standardsAS/NZS 1170.2 wind loadsAS 1288-Glass in BuildingsAS/NZS 1664-Aluminium stractureFACADE TESTINGNCC 2022 -Section J % FP1.4Job LocationDhakaSalaryTk. 60000 - 80000 (Monthly)
