Facilities Project Manager

About the Role Cancer Research Malaysia is expanding! We’re looking for a Facilities Project Manager to lead the development of our new office and laboratory space, and oversee refurbishment projects in clinical settings across health district hospitals. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in project management, has an eye for real estate and construction, and is passionate about improving healthcare and research infrastructure.What You’ll Do 🔹 Source and evaluate land or property for new office/lab development 🔹 Lead full-cycle construction projects – from design to handover 🔹 Manage consultants, contractors, and suppliers for timely, high-quality delivery 🔹 Oversee refurbishment projects in clinic settings across Malaysia 🔹 Liaise with authorities for permits, safety, and operational compliance 🔹 Track project schedules, costs, and resources 🔹 Prepare project reports and present progress to senior managementWho We’re Looking For ✅ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field ✅ Minimum 3 years’ experience in facilities or construction project management (healthcare/research setting preferred) ✅ Strong understanding of building regulations and project methodologies ✅ Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills ✅ Proficient in project tools, design software & MS Office ✅ PMP/CCPM certification is an advantage ✅ Willing to travel within Malaysia
