Job Description

Plan and coordinate installations and refurbishments e.g. heat, electricity, water, etcCoordinate maintenance of all appliancesManage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health, safety, government and environmental standardsProcurement of office items especially admin and cleaning tools at best pricesEnsure the safety and security of facility before closing for the dayEnsure the office is opened early in the morning and all facilities are operating as expectedInspect the buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovationControl activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal and building securityAllocate office space according to needsMaintain the office and ensure that the office is clean at all timesOrganization of company facilities and errandsSupervise cleaning activitiesEnsure that security men are at all times functioning at their duty postsSupervise all facilities staff (custodians, cleaners, security, groundskeepers, technicians, etc.) and external contractorsAdvising business on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectivenessDraft reports and making written recommendationsPlanning and forecasting future needs or repairsAgree and oversee contracts with providers of service(s)Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costsKeep financial and non-financial recordsCreate and manage a facility budget (including costs for repairs and procurement)Ordering of office suppliesHandle insurance plans and service contractsProcurement of office items especially admin and cleaning tools at best pricesRequirementsA degree in related fields, minimum of a HNDProven experience working in a similar role and knowledge in administrative or operational roleDemonstrated high computer literacy: particularly with programs in Microsoft Office4 years and above work experienceAbility to develop and maintain good working relationshipsAbility to manage complex workloadTechnical knowledge of building servicesProblem Solving, Multi-tasking skillsReasonable degree of Computer literacyDetail oriented and organizedTeam workAn ability to prioritize, plan and organize work in a busy environmentCommercial awarenessRecord/book keeping skillsInterpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skillsBenefitsCompetitive pay & benefits Premium Health insurance coverConsistent Learning and Development
