Position OverviewThe Head of Facility Management will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities operations, maintenance, safety, and compliance across the organization. This role ensures that physical infrastructure, utilities, and workplace services align with business needs, employee well-being, and sustainability goals.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic LeadershipDevelop and implement facility management strategies aligned with organizational objectives.Lead planning and budgeting for facilities, maintenance, and capital projects.Drive sustainability initiatives (energy efficiency, waste management, green building practices).Operations & MaintenanceOversee building maintenance, housekeeping, security, and safety protocols.Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and environmental laws.Manage vendor contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).Workplace & Employee ExperienceEnsure workplace infrastructure supports productivity and employee satisfaction.Implement space planning, seating arrangements, and ergonomics.Lead emergency preparedness and business continuity planning.Financial & Vendor ManagementPrepare and monitor facility budgets, cost optimization, and resource allocation.Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.Track KPIs and performance metrics for facility operations.Team LeadershipLead and mentor facility management teams across multiple locations.Build a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (MBA preferred).12–18 years of experience in facility management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety).Experience in vendor management, compliance, and sustainability initiatives.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Key SkillsFacility Operations & MaintenanceVendor & Contract ManagementBudgeting & Cost ControlHealth, Safety & ComplianceSustainability & Energy ManagementSpace Planning & Workplace StrategyCrisis & Risk ManagementLeadership & Team Development
