The opportunityIn this role, you will be responsible for delivering tailored IT solutions and services to our site, acting as the key interface between business units, application owners, and IT stakeholders. You will ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure and applications, while also taking on critical IT/OT cybersecurity responsibilities and providing hands-on support for both office and shop floor IT/OT assets.How You'll Make An ImpactServe as the primary point of contact for local business IT needs and escalationsAggregate and communicate demand for new or improved IT servicesManage vendor relationships and coordinate with IT suppliers and CDC teamsOversee ticket management, triage, and escalation processesDeliver and support IT infrastructure onsiteMaintain governance and security standardsExecute IT/OT cybersecurity tasks, act as a first responder to incidents and to identify and protect critical factory assets collaborating with vendors to ensure proper patching and configuration of OT systemsEnsure machine connectivity with network core switchesManage specific applications and coordinate software/network connectivity (PLC programming excluded)Your backgroundFormal qualification in Information TechnologyIdeally two years of experience in IT supportExperience in complex stakeholder environments and cross-functional problem solvingFamiliarity with IT procedures, policies, and end-to-end business processesProactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyExperience with SQL ServerProficient in ServiceNow IT Enterprise Platform, MS Office 365, MS Azure, Windows, iOS, and Asset Management Tools; familiarity with ITIL 4 framework is a plus.Fluent in English and FrenchMore About UsAt Hitachi Energy, we value diversity and collaboration, which drive innovation across all areas of our business.
