Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Factory Manager at Seastorm Boats. The Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing production planning, quality control, production management, operations management, and manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire manufacturing process of boats, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity within the factory. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies for production while minimizing excess. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functioning and maintenance. Train and develop staff on best practices in manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality assurance. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting team engagement and morale. Analyze production reports and metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to facilitate new product introductions and modifications. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards, implementing corrective actions as needed.
