Sector: Industrial Manufacturing — on-site, high-volume discrete manufacturing serving automotive, aerospace and heavy-industry customers. The role focuses on delivering safe, compliant and efficient production on the factory floor while driving continuous-improvement and quality targets.Position: Production Supervisor (Factory Supervisor) — India, On-siteRole & ResponsibilitiesOwn daily shift operations: plan and execute production schedules to meet output, quality and on-time delivery targets while maintaining safety and compliance.Supervise and coach operators and technicians: assign tasks, manage shift handovers, conduct Gemba walks and drive operator skill development.Ensure quality and process adherence: enforce SOPs, run first-article checks, escalate non-conformances and collaborate with Quality to close corrective actions.Drive continuous improvement: lead 5S and Lean initiatives, identify waste, implement Kaizen ideas and improve OEE and throughput.Manage resources and materials: coordinate with planning, maintenance and logistics to minimise downtime and maintain part availability.Maintain safety and housekeeping standards: enforce PPE use, conduct safety briefings and incident reporting to sustain a zero-harm culture.Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveProduction PlanningShop Floor ManagementLean Manufacturing5SQuality ControlSAPPreferredKaizenRoot Cause AnalysisTotal Productive MaintenanceBenefits & Culture HighlightsHands-on, safety-first shop-floor culture with defined career paths into senior production and continuous-improvement roles.Structured training in Lean, quality systems and ERP tools plus opportunities for cross-functional exposure (maintenance, planning, quality).On-site role with shift allowances, performance-linked incentives and recognition for Kaizen contributions.This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven supervisor who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and is ready to lead teams to higher productivity, better quality and safer operations.
