Microchip’s Field Application Engineer plays key role in facilitating the adoption of Microchip’s products in client designs, thereby contributing to the overall growth of Microchip’s business in the region.Drive focus customer projects to success by providing in-depth engineering consultation and assisting customers with embedded application design support and associated hardware development.Engage with Sales and Marketing teams to provide pre- and post-sales technical support to clients.Co-create and execute business development strategies alongside the Client Engagement team from technical perspective.Adopt, lead and comprehensively utilize all elements of Microchip’s Sales Operating System to create and secure design wins.Deliver/facilitate technical training to fellow FAEs, the Sales team, clients, and channel partners.Support the Client Engagement team in identifying new opportunities, engage in discussions with Customers System Architects and R&D Teams, understand their needs, and propose solutions based on Microchip product offerings to address their challenges and differentiate them from competitors.Provide technical coordination and project management for in-house projects and developments.Willing to travel for client engagement activities, trainings, or to support other regions as needed.Requirements and Qualifications B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in ElectronicsMinimum of 5 years of experience in embedded application design and hardware development.Strong understanding of power conversion topologies is a plus.Experience in PCB design and design tools.Experience in MCU/MPU/FPGA development is preferred.Familiar with reviewing schematics and layout design is beneficial.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation skills.Travel Time0% - 25%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
