By providing prayer, mentorship, fellowship, and purpose-driven programs, the organization helps women flourish spiritually and make meaningful impacts in their lives and the lives of others. Sisters in Christ hosts both virtual and in-person conferences, workshops, and prayer gatherings, as well as creating supportive sisterhood circles and outreach initiatives. The organization equips women to lead with faith in their homes, churches, communities, and careers.Role DescriptionThis is a volunteer remote role for the Faith-Based Vice President of Human Resources. The individual in this role will oversee and develop HR policies, manage employee relations, supervise employee benefits, and ensure the organization operates in compliance with HR best practices. The Vice President of HR will also manage the use of HR Information Systems (HRIS), support a positive organizational culture, and provide guidance on recruitment, engagement, and retention strategies, all in alignment with the organization's mission and values.QualificationsProven expertise in Human Resources managementStrong knowledge and experience with Employee Relations and Employee BenefitsExcellent leadership and communication skills to support engagement and a collaborative team environmentCommitment to the faith-based mission of empowering women through spiritual development and community buildingBroad understanding of nonprofit HR operations and challenges is advantageousBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred but not requiredExperience in leadership or management roles within faith-based organizations is a plus
