Design CoordinatorNew project Tralee area Kerry Long term work in the area (Hybrid working potential)Salary: Up to €80K + Package DOECandidate must have main contracting / large scale project experience, preferable in the Irish construction industry. Duties: Complete design section of the bi-weekly Contractors Progress reports such as DS’s MTS, RFIs etc. Coordinate and monitor design development from concept through to construction stages. Chair and manage design team meetings. Oversee design of façade systems (curtain walling, cladding, glazing, brickwork etc. ) from early-stage concepts to construction details. Review and manage the flow of information through Autodesk software platforms.
Coordinate with M&E, structural, and architectural designers to resolve clashes or technical issues early. Track and manage design submittals, RFIs, and approvals to align with the project programme. Coordinate mock-ups, sample panels, and material selections with architects and client teams. Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, and relevant façade standards.
