M & J Group is looking for Fashion Designer - PD & Design - Genesis Fashions Ltd (Wash)Job Description / ResponsibilityAbout the Company: M&J Group entered into manufacturing activities in 1963 by establishing a flour milling company. The business horizon gets expanded in 1989 when the garment manufacturing factory was opened. Now with its 8 sister concerns, M&J Group is a leading manufacturer in Bangladesh. The group is producing a wide range of top-quality denim bottoms including some non-denim products. M&J Group aspires to be the leading supplier in the global fashion business by offering the best expertise and knowledge in producing Ready Made Garments.Job Responsibilities:Communicate with the brands & execute the research & development process, follow up & ensure on-time sample stitching, washing, finishing, final quality & delivery.Source fabrics, accessories, trims, & other required materials for the developments. Meet suppliers and producers, negotiate prices.Research and develop new designs & washes according to the trend & fashion forecast.Innovate new techniques, applications & support industrialization.Present & promote new designs & developments to the brands or customers.Coordinate with concerned departments for price quotations, package shipping, releasing & payments, etc.Cooperate with the team for planning, organizing & executing administrative duties.Able to understand the needs of the customer/market target.Any other task assigned by supervisor & management.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Fashion DesigningGraduation in Fashion Design from any renowned fashion designing universityMust have a good academic record.Experience RequirementsAt most 2 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):GarmentsFreshers are also encouraged to apply.Additional RequirementsUp-to-date knowledge in garments manufacturing and washing.Has to be Good knowledge in Photoshop/illustrator and relevant thing.Communication skill has to be good in terms of written speaking and listening.Team Leader with proactive interpersonal skills.Result-oriented and a strong desire for success.Self-starter & proactive.Must be fluent at English (Reading, writing and speaking).Job LocationGazipur
