Product Design & CollaborationCreate design concepts & technical drawings, with specifications for fabrics, trims, and construction methods.Collaborate with technical designers, tech pack designers to deliver timely and accurate execution of designs from concept to final product, including ensuring design feasibility, and developing samples.Collaborate with marketing team to highlight the unique features and benefits of the products.Customer & Market analysisConduct in-depth research to understand customer preferences, pain points, and market trends specific to the developing apparel type (particularly for women in the US)Understand and explain the emotional impact of visuals, why certain designs feel a certain way to the customerResearch what kinds of visuals resonate with the target audience, using insights from sold data and market trends to guide design decisionsGather and analyze customer feedback to inform design decisions, ensuring designs meet consumer needs and expectations.Gather market testing insights to refine design approach.Design process innovationParticipate in side projects to improve team approach to design.Stay updated on new materials, technologies, and industry innovations.Required Skills & ExperienceSpecialized experience in bra or bottomwear design, including fit, function, materials, and constructionStrong visual reasoning: able to explain how design choices impact customer perception and feeling3+ years in fashion or technical design, with at least 2 years focused on intimates or bottomwearSolid understanding of customer needs, market trends, and how to use sold data to guide designProficient in technical drawing using Adobe Illustrator, with sharp attention to detail and colorStrong communication and teamwork skills across design, product, and marketing functionsAble to meet deadlines and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environmentGood at English communicationPreferred QualificationsProven track record in the US fashion market or working with US-based brands.Application SubmissionCV.Portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and experience in apparel design.
