Fashion Planner

Hunkemöller is searching for a passionate, highly analytical and structured Fashion Planner. Reporting to the Merchandiser and working as part of a team, you’ll play a key role in planning and developing a category strategy that drives market-leading sales performance and ultimately delivers profitable growth for Hunkemöller.Within This Challenging Role, Your Key Responsibilities Will BeSetting up budgets for each quarter with the MerchandiserRecommending width and depth of options planned for each quarter in line with demandManaging and analysing product size ratiosBuilding and managing the WSSI with the MerchandiserThe Role Will Include The Following Merchandising ProcessesLiaising with the Merchandiser to ensure appropriate levels of stock within seasonManaging slow sellers and recommending any stock transfers outProviding the buying team with a clear merchandise framework and plan so they can build and select the product assortmentUnderstanding sales/profit plan and the implications of current tradingReviewing commitment and best/worst sellers then highlighting risks and opportunities to the MerchandisersIdentifying and costing markdown recommendations to review with the MerchandisersCarrying out Monday performance reports to support the Merchandisers with current trade for Monday meetingsRecommending clearance strategies to reduce the level of old stock #Our Ideal Candidate For This Fashion Planner RoleHas at least 3-years’ proven merchandising experience within a fashion retailerHas a strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and numerical skillsEnjoys working collaboratively, as part of a team and building strong working relationshipsHas knowledge in SAP (BW), advanced Excel skills and very good English language skills, both written and verbal Is self-confident, fun and passionate about retail and merchandising.
