Your Role: Design, develop, administer, and continuously improve employee training content at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). Build and deploy HR-related training content. Manage communications, timelines, and learning management system (LMS) administration. Create engaging training materials, including eLearning modules, videos, and guides. Monitor participation and effectiveness, support trainees and supervisors, and collaborate across departments on training best practices and initiatives. Pay, Schedule, & Benefits: The anticipated starting pay range is $63,000 - $68,000. This compensation range considers a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experiences, as well as internal equityThis is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position.
Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday during daytime business hours. Approximately 5% expenses-paid domestic travel is requiredFMSC Benefits includedWhat You’ll Do: Deploy training content to employees and supervisors. Develop and roll out communication plans, manage timelines and trainee enrollment, monitor completion rates, follow up with employees and supervisors, generate reports, respond to trainee questions, and provide updates to HR team membersServe as a learning management system (LMS) system administrator. Manage system settings, maintain user roles and permissions, and train new admin users on system use. Troubleshoot issues with system access, settings, and functions.
Evaluate system performance and user experience, and implement improvementsCreate training content. Design and develop online training modules, including SCORM files, custom images, scripts, slide decks, assessments, quizzes, videos, and voiceovers. Training topics may include: supervisory best practices, how to manage employee performance, interview and hiring best practices, and other HR-related topicsMaintain and improve existing training content. Design and launch surveys, implement improvements, and respond to changing organizational needs such as changing employment landscape, policies, and laws. Adjust and improve deployment practices and schedulesCreate a variety of highly-engaging training media.
Create screen capture tutorials, narrated voiceovers, and on-camera “talking head” videos. Edit and publish video and sound filesCreate and maintain training procedures, manuals, guides, and course materialsParticipate interdepartmentally on training projects by aligning rollouts, timelines, deadlines, systems, and process improvementsConduct training virtually, in-person, and via recorded training contentMaintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and developmentPerform other duties as assignedYour Qualifications: Commitment to support, promote, and authentically communicate FMSC’s Christian mission and goalsMinimum of bachelor’s degree in related field and 3 years of experience in Human Resources and/or learning management system administration required.
In lieu of degree, equivalent work experience consideredExperience with creating and deploying training content is requiredExceptional listening, verbal, presenting, and written communication skillsExcellent planning and organizational skills with a high degree of detail, accuracy, and follow-up. Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlinesExperience with SharePoint, Litmos, and Canva is preferredYour Team: This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing a combination of remote and onsite work.
