And neither do we!Team up with us and take the exciting opportunity to be a member of our Deployment Team!Job DescriptionThe primary responsibility of the Fiber Optic Deployment Engineer will be to support our stakeholder's networks, provide the knowledge and skill to support Field Operations in performing the technical aspects of managing network work order execution.The proposed Engineer will support the Network project implementation process by performing engineering tasks such as Workorder evaluation, handling the work flow of new service activation, site survey / site folder review and related document control, construction work supervision, coordination, scheduling and other related activities. This role in organization is a developmental position which provides an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the Design / Construction / Network Service activation process.Key Tasks & ResponsibilitiesTask & ResponsibilitiesActing as technical advisor on a construction location for subcontractorsEnsuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specificationsLiaising with any subcontractorsConstruction work Management / SupervisionInspects construction projects, ensures that a safe construction is maintained, and plans are followed according to our standardsPerformance evaluation process for subcontractors.Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlinesPreparing reports as requiredSurveying on-site worksTechnical evaluationResolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may ariseUse and maintain the required tools to improve efficiency and communication within teams.RequirementsBS/MSC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Physics (4-5 year course, with Specialization on Telecom/Electronics/Optics)At least 2-5 years' experience in Fiber Optic Network.
