This position is designed to support a broad range of human resources activities, including employee relations, full-cycle payroll, and performance management programs. This role ensures accurate and compliant payroll processing, facilitates consistent HR practices, and drives employee development through structured performance processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral HR SupportServe as a first point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, procedures and programsMaintain up-to-date and accurate employee records in the HRIS SystemAssist in onboarding and offboarding processes including orientation, system setup and exit paperworkAdminister benefits enrolment, employee changes and assists with open enrolmentManage leaves of absence (FMLA/STD/LTD/ADA, etc. )Assist with planning and coordinating employee events (i. e. pick up lunches, monthly birthday/anniversary celebrations, etc.
)Assist in developing, updating and communicating HR policies and proceduresSupport the HR Manager in resolving employee relations matters, investigations and corrective actionsAssist in developing, updating and communicating HR policies and proceduresPrepare/submit monthly random drug screening employee list and advise selected employeesManage the inventory for company apparelProtect organization’s value by keeping information confidentialPayroll AdministrationProcess biweekly payroll accurately and on time, including timecard review, deduction, and adjustmentsEnsure compliance with federal, state and local wage and hour lawsMaintain payroll records and respond to wage verification and auditsResponds to employee inquiries related to pay, tax forms and timekeepingManager payroll updates such as new hires, terminations, compensation changes and benefit deductionsPerformance ManagementPartner with leaders and coordinate the anniversary performance review processTrain and support managers and employee on performance evaluations and ADP System processMonitor timely completion of reviews Ensure performance processes are fair, consistent and aligned with company policiesPartner with leaders to recommend anniversary merit increase that aligns with performance evaluation Performs other duties as assignedWhat You Will Bring To The TeamHigh School Diploma or GED Recent graduatesTwo or more years’ experience of office administrative assistant responsibilities preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional interpersonal skillsHighly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication toolsWorks well under pressure and meets tight deadlinesFantastic organizational and time management skillsMeticulous attention to detailHigh level of integrity and discretion requiredAbility to accurately follow instructionsMust be a U.
