The role ensures the smooth delivery of vocational and employability services, supervises tutors, acts as the focal point for stakeholders on-site, coordinates missions at refugee camps and logistics, upholds safeguarding and safety standards, and represents Odyssea in the field.Main ResponsibilitiesMission & Team CoordinationCoordinate and oversee daily project activities at mission sites (refugee camps), ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.Manage and support tutors on scheduling, class set-up, class quality, deployment (in coordination with HQ), and reporting.Serve as the on-site focal point for Odyssea staff and external collaborators.Stakeholder Engagement & RepresentationLiaise with camp/site management, facility authorities, and local stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.Represent Odyssea professionally at the field level and maintain strong working relationships with partners and institutional counterparts.Outreach, Participation & EmployabilityConduct outreach with site actors to promote participation in trainings and employability services.Monitor attendance and engagement, troubleshoot barriers to participation, and report trends and risks to the Project Manager.Coordinate visits from and to companies and potential employers to facilitate direct engagement with beneficiaries.Safeguarding, Protection & InclusionEnsure safeguarding, protection, and inclusion principles are understood and applied across all field activities.Promote safe programming and adherence to safety and security protocols during missions at the refugee camps.Administration, Documentation & ReportingCollect and submit all field-level documentation (attendance sheets, monitoring tools, Means of Verification, field reports).Gather invoices and presence sheets from Odyssea team members and external collaborators.Coordinate translation needs with contracted providers and ensure timely delivery of translated materials.Required Qualifications & SkillsUniversity degree in Education, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.ExperienceAt least 3 years of experience in project coordination/field management (humanitarian or education settings).Experience in managing educational programs, especially those tailored to marginalised populations.Proven experience working in multicultural environments and with migrant/refugee communities.SkillsFluency in Greek and English; additional languages are an asset.Strong leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.Solid understanding of safeguarding principles and safety/security protocols.Full driving licence.Desired / Great PlusAble to manage own workload and support others to do likewise.Positive, can-do approach; determined and tenacious—able to see projects through to completion.Commitment to continuous quality improvement.Ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage competing deadlines.Recruitment Process1st Interview: Project Manager & HR Generalist2nd Interview: COOWhat we offer to make your work-life awesome! 🌟:🏖️ +3 additional holiday days per year, beyond the legal entitlement and national holidays🤓📚 3 personal learning days per year with a €100 company contribution🤝🌍 2 volunteer days off per year to support another organisation🌐✈️ Hybrid work model – one remote day per week💪🏥 Private health insurance
