Position SummaryWe’re looking for a Field Engineer with a strong foundation in construction and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will support field operations on a variety of projects — including structural steel, building, and infrastructure work — ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency from start to finish.ResponsibilitiesReview drawings and specifications to ensure work meets project requirements.Support daily field operations and coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors.Perform field layout, measurements, and verification for accuracy and compliance.Track daily activities, quantities, and materials to support reporting and billing.Assist with sequencing work such as steel erection, concrete, and general construction.Help prepare and review RFIs, submittals, and as-built drawings.Verify that materials and installations meet quality and safety standards.Communicate with engineers, detailers, and fabricators to align drawings with field conditions.Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate field documentation.Promote and enforce company safety policies on the jobsite.Qualifications1+ years in the construction industryAbility to read and understand plans and specificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills to document project activities, analyze data, and prepare reportsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary commensurate with experience ($80,000 - $100,000)Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) company match and annual profit sharingPaid time off and holidaysLong-term disability – paid by the companyPaid family leave insurance – paid by the companyAnnual company-sponsored outings and events, including team-building activities, sports tournaments, fundraising opportunities, and social celebrations
