Job DescriptionTitle: Field Marketing CoordinatorOverview:gusto! is an Atlanta-based fast casual restaurant group with 13 company-owned locations. We proudly serve healthy, flavorful bowls & wraps made with fresh, vibrant ingredients because we believe food should reawaken the body and soul.Position Summary:We are looking for a Field Marketing Coordinator with high energy and expertise activating brands in their respective communities. This is a boots-on-the-ground role supporting our shop leadership; you have to love interacting with people to crush this role. This person needs to be proactive, scrappy, hungry and an excellent communicator.It is critical this individual builds strong relationships with our shop leadership, and is consistently present and visible across all of our shops. This individual serves as the connection point between our shops (and our shop leads) and the Marketing team. This person also leads the brand’s community event planning and management at the local level.While the majority of this individual’s time will be spent in the field (at our shops), this is a hybrid role. When not in the shops, this individual should plan to work from our WeWork office (in Atlanta) 1-2x a week for in-person collaboration and meetings with the Marketing team. This individual also has the flexibility to work from home certain days as long as it does not interfere with shop visits and WeWork requirements.This individual has to sweat the details, but also be resourceful to handle the curveballs that naturally come with Field Marketing. We are high-touch collaborators, workshopping solutions and being accountable for our successes and missteps as a team. This role will report to our Brand Manager.Key Responsibilities:Serving as the Marketing team’s eyes and ears in the communityBuilding trust with all shop managers by being visible consistently in all of our Georgia shops (We have 11 shops in the Atlanta-metro area, 1 in Buford, 1 in Sharpsburg).You must be able to travel to every one of our 13 individual shops minimally 1x per month, as well as have the flexibility to lead/attend local community eventsManaging communication between the Marketing team and the shops using a variety of communication channels (e.g., emails, slack messages, calls, and owning a monthly internal marketing email to the field outlining upcoming activations & news)Managing our Marketing inbox and owning guest-facing communications to guestsEnsuring shops are activating marketing promotions correctly (e.g., shop signage/POP materials have been delivered and set up properly based on program playbooks)Providing in-person support at local marketing promotions and local eventsProactively reaching out to current community partners, and exploring partnerships with new ones (e.g., a teacher appreciation event at a local school or a surprise & delight at a local fire station, or a partnership with a program like Second Helpings)Working in partnership with our Marketing team members:With our catering team to attend in-person participation at large eventsWith PR lead to support brand ambassadors and influencersWith internal and external team members to plan content capture for organic and paid social when visiting our shops and communitiesOwning accountability for marketing campaign success at a grassroots levelUnderstanding the major impact Field Marketing has on the customer experienceReporting observations from the field regarding customer engagement and shop needsQualifications:We are looking for a candidate with 3-5 years experience in Field Marketing, either on the brand side or agency side. Our preference is that this individual has worked in the food service industry before and knows the camaraderie and hustle that comes with this job. Minimally this person should have Field Marketing experience in the retail category. We need a team member that is warm, outgoing, and easy to talk to - but you have to be a hustler, first and foremost.Skills:Naturally a go-getter, proactive not reactive, ambitious, scrappy and hungry to get the job done!Highly collaborative as the liaison between the Marketing team and the shopsAccountability without heavy oversightClear and consistent communication, including providing daily updates on projects in Asana (our project management tool)Customer-centric approach to marketingExcellent time management skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalA growth mindset and openness to give and receive constructive feedbackConstructive Feedback:It is critically important that this person is able to give and receive constructive feedback as we all strive for continuous improvement.
