Dredge Robotics is an unrivalled global robotics cleaning solutions provider with key clients across mining, government, industrial, manufacturing, processing and wastewater industries, with clients and work across the country.With our globally unique designs, our dredging robots rapidly and thoroughly clean water assets while they remain online – saving our clients and customers significant amounts of money through minimising downtime and logistics.The RoleWe’re seeking suitably qualified Supervisors to lead and mentor our remote field teams on a full-time, permanent basis. Our 2:2 roster offers an excellent work-life balance, with opportunities for additional work for those that are interested during the 2 weeks off. You will have the chance to work across various sites, states, and industries, contributing to a rich and diverse work experience.The position is suited for someone who has a broad set of skills in either mining, plant operation, dewatering and water treatment, as well as knowledge in either mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Your primary responsibility is to lead the team, liaise with clients and manage expectation, provide in-field maintenance, reporting and general site work to ensure safe and successful service delivery. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Oversee the maintenance, quality and integrity of plant and equipment on site, inc vehicle loading cranes, HR trucks, trailers, and electrical equipment including CCTV, flowmeters, water treatment rigsGeneral Site Setup: Layout of pumps and pipes and other equipmentROV Operation: Monitoring and Piloting of remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) - training will be provided Provide basic maintenance on all equipmentTroubleshooting and repairs Working at heights (e.g. tank platforms)Assisting with troubleshooting and maintenance of a diverse array of electric/hydraulic and mechanical systems;Computer based reportingConducting daily safety inspectionsSkills & experience: HR-B Truck licenceRigging (preferable) or Dogging Working Safely at Heights First AidConstruction Induction White Card Demonstrated experience in a Supervisor role in remote and/or heavy industry environmentsLeadership experience Methodical, persistent, practical approach to trouble shooting and problem solvingValue safe work, quality output and client relationsPhysically fit Electrical or mechanical trade qualification is desired Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise tasks on siteThe PerksWorking on cutting edge innovations and technologyWorking with robotic support systems – the first of its kindA culture that matters and that people enjoy being apart ofCompetitive hourly rateSuperannuation paid on all hoursAll hours worked are paid – 12-hour days, with lunchbreaks paidSend your applications to employment@fcdiving.com.auAs part of the recruitment process, you will be required to undergo pre-employment screening including a pre-employment medical, working rights check and police clearance. At Dredge Robotics, we value diversity and provide an inclusive environment for all employees.
