Join the fast growing Wearables / AI Smart Glasses and VR industry! Reality Labs is looking for a Field Sales Manager for our 3rd party retail channel. Reporting to the APAC Channel Enablement Head, this person will own the staffing strategy, deployment, and measurement of Field Sales and Training Programs. Lead the translation of Meta priorities into compelling sales and demo programs at retail. Liaison between Meta and our outside agency partners to design and execute demo programs that reflect our brand mission. Manage all aspects of our staffing program including coverage models, operations, sales, reporting, and strategy. Leverage industry subject matter expertise and ongoing learnings to consult and inform internal partners on strategic execution, impact, and future innovation.Field Sales Manager - Japan Responsibilities:Drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and enhance brand advocacy and purchase consideration for Meta productsEstablish relationships and collaborate with internal departments (sales, channel, category) to ensure effective retail field program executionLead internal meetings to discuss results, formulate strategy, define success metrics, and foster innovation through new solutionsManage the performance of the agency's field sales team, holding them accountable for program results, including execution metrics, budget, and ROI targetsRegularly partner with staffing agencies (quarterly) to evaluate and optimize field coverage models, managing the allocation of field time across retailers, products, and channelsFacilitate weekly conference calls and daily communication with the agency team, conducting weekly reviews of all performance measuresAssume accountability for results, address discrepancies, and proactively strive for growthManage Quarterly Business Reviews and agency evaluations, supporting and leading the agency field and account teams to contribute value to the program and achieve Meta's objectivesContribute to event execution strategy and measurement plans, directing agency staffing, education, and reporting. Collaborate on all event recaps and posting efforts, including lessons learned and future recommendationsDirectly collaborate with the Meta Training Lead on VR & Wearables training content, deployment, and measurementProvide actionable insights to leadership by reporting key industry activities, competitor positioning, retailer news, and customer issues/inquiriesIn partnership with the Data Science team, deliver analysis of VR & Wearables staffing sales impactManage budgets for agency spend, initiating new contracts, purchase orders, and engagement with Finance. Proactively review spend reports to identify gaps and propose solutionsMinimum Qualifications:7+ years of experience in the retail consumer electronics industry5+ years of experience in project management, leading large and small-scale retail initiatives, streamlining, troubleshooting, and building new processes5+ years of experience managing retail staffing, including program leadership (account management, field management, etc.), measurements, field team reporting, data tools, analytics, and tacticsExtensive experience and proven track record in managing relationships and consulting with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales and Channel teamsExisting knowledge of emerging technologies (AR/VR/Other), GTM strategy, and retail executionHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail, with experience detecting inconsistencies and proactively building solutionsDemonstrated experience in physical and digital communication skills to package and present internal strategies, results, and recommendationsPreferred Qualifications:Direct experience with staffing or Brand Ambassador programs at a consumer electronics manufacturerExperience in the Wearables, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, or Gaming industryFamiliarity with local Consumer Electronic retail chains and their penetration strategiesProficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana)Skilled in using dashboard reporting tools such as Power BI and TableauAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
