Field Service Engineer Beam

Challenges we trust you withAs a Flying beam Engineer you play a key role in our mission to treat cancer patients. You participate to the installation and maintenance of the IBA equipment and technical tools on the Proton Therapy sites in Asia Pacific region. You are responsible for all different aspects of beam-related commissioning activities. You are in charge of testing and validating new releases according to the specifications, and you ensure the customer requirements are met in terms of compliance, quality, technical performance, and timing. You will become a specialist in the latest cancer treatment solutions and represent IBA with your know how.What We ValueMaster Degree or Ph.D in Physics or Engineering;A relevant experience in High Energy Physics, Academy of Sciences, Particle Accelerators or Medical Physics are a strong asset;A knowledge in Python is required;You have proven experience in root-cause analysis and you can lead a large-scale system troubleshooting;You have very good oral and written communication skills in English ;You are based in Singapore, and willing to travel up to 70% of your time;You are a flexible person, willing to work at different shift times, when necessary.Life at IBAAt IBA, we value creativity, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.
