From Venlo (Lomm) or on site, we provide our customers worldwide with solid, customer-oriented, and flexible support for their Compressors, Steam and Gas Turbines. Please join our proud and highly skilled international crew as a Field Service Engineer Rotating Equipment.In this role you will be accountable for:Provide mechanical on-site technical direction and supervision during maintenance events (inspections) of customer owned Facilities utilizing rotating equipment Ensure accurate installation/trouble shooting/maintenance & diagnostics of the rotating equipment according to Sulzer Specifications, engineering instructions, drawings & process instructionsManage site activities like planning/integration/monitoring of resources and technical assistance based on agreed contractual work scopeSupervise contract employees, manpower by providing directions, instructions, monitor quality and progress during Gas Turbine overhaulsDiscussing the repairs to be carried out with engineers and implementing staffThe support of field service activities in a back-office roleThe developments on rotating equipment related services and productsTo succeed in this role, you will need:A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering5 years’ experience in rotating equipment engineering and hands-on maintenanceExperience to understand and implement mechanical drawings (section, construction, assembly dwg, P&ID, alignment specification, flushing/blowing procedure, piping specification, etc.)Very good English language skillsA proactive, flexible, and problem-solving attitudeExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsYour benefits: Sulzer offers an excellent package of benefits (CAO Metalektro), including:A more than competitive salaryA generous number of holidays (40)A solid pension scheme Training opportunitiesLocation: We are based in Lomm (close to Venlo), which is a great place to live.
