Do you want to make a difference with your work?Join our team now!We are currently looking for professionals to work as Field Service Technician in Romania, ideally in greater area of Konstanza, Brasov and Arad.The Field Service Technician will perform hands-on field service work on Jenbacher Gas Engines, including but not limited to commissioning, troubleshooting, periodic maintenance, and minor overhaul, INNIO Jenbacher Gas Engines range in power from 0.25 to 9.5 MW, and run on either natural gas or a variety of other gases (e.g., biogas, landfill gas, coal mine gas, sewage gas, combustible industrial waste gases). EcoVadis awarded INNIO a platinum medal in 2022 for its outstanding achievements in the area of sustainability.What INNIO Offers YouWell-equipped company vehicle (VAN)Laptop, cell phone, high-quality tools and workwearPermanent contract (subject to probation period)Supported learning and practical training sessions relevant to the job and your current experience (online or present in Austria and Germany)Innovative and international working environmentAttractive employee benefitsAwards programOvertime paid as per regulationsPerDiem paid as per regulationsEssential ResponsibilitiesExecute service in compliance with the maintenance protocol of the engine, for example: check oil & filters, replace filters and valves as well as perform relevant mechanical measurements.Carry out minor repairs on the engine additional to the planned serviceTake part in the execution of major service on the engine ensuring the compliance with the manufacturer’s manuals and proceduresManage and work with third party suppliers Manage customers expectations and report on the progress of the maintenancePerform troubleshooting activities to understand mechanical failure of the engine and/or electronic failures of the associated control systems. Regular check historical data of the engine to prevent unplanned outages.Create a technical report specifying the reason for a site visit, the actions performed and the result, describe the use of materials and if needed follow-up actionsResponsible to maintain a basic set of spare parts on site, ensure that they are approved, clean and stored appropriatelyWork effectively as part of a team of technicians or independentlyProcess timesheets, expense reports, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) forms, and job reports in a timely mannerComply with all EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive work environmentKeep a clean and tidy working environmentPerform other duties as assignedBuild and maintain a good relationship with the customersQualifications/RequirementsProfession and Experience – car or ship electrician/mechanic, electrician/mechanic or other relevant electrical/mechanical background additional mechanical/electrical experiencePrior professional experience with reciprocating engines preferred welcomedStrong technical understanding and IT skillsPLC knowledgeFluent in English OR German, level medium or aboveFluent in Romanian language, level medium or above Work effectively as part of a team of technicians or independentlyAbility to learn and developWillingness to travel several days per week away from home for work purposesCategory B driving licenceDesired CharacteristicsFamiliar with INNIO reciprocating gas/diesel enginesAvailable for extensive travel, up to 80%Able to understand and implement technical proceduresStrong analytical and problem solving skillsEffective interpersonal and organizational skillsStrong customer focusPlease note that our recruitment team is based in Hungary hence you could expect a call from them with a country code of +36.
