As our customer base continues to grow across Australia, Liebherr Maritime Cargo & Construction Division is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Technical Manager, this role involves servicing and maintaining a diverse range of cranes, including Crawler Cranes, drilling and piling equipment, with occasional work on harbour mobile and gantry cranes.This hands-on role primarily covers Perth and Northern WA, with travel throughout Australia as needed. We’re looking for a proactive and driven individual who is passionate about promoting the Liebherr brand, committed to delivering best-in-class service, and eager to travel.Key ResponsibilitiesMajor and minor serviceDiagnostics and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systemsInspect and test electrical and instrumentation systems and componentsRoutine maintenance, repairs, and component replacementsExpand and maintain customer relationships in the fieldComplete service reporting and manufacturers documentationAdhere to safety guidelines in the workplaceAbout YouTrade qualified in Auto Electrical or Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as requiredCapable of working independently in the field, problem solving in various situations.Crane industry experience desirable, although not a requirementAbility to fault find and rectify hydraulic, mechanical and electrical issuesA current driver’s licenseBenefitsExcellent hourly rate and Overtime availableGenerous employee benefits, including 5 days bonus leave days, paid parental leave, early access to LSLCorporate Health Insurance DiscountGenerous discounts for goods & services via our employee benefits program inc.
