For more info about us please visit our website; www. broadcom. co. keJob PurposeTo perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on telecom power systems and infrastructure (generators, hybrid/solar systems, rectifiers, batteries, shelters, cooling units, etc.
), including emergency fueling of BTS stations, while ensuring that all maintenance, fueling, spares utilization, and services rendered are logged in the system for SLA compliance, invoicing, and payment purposes. REPORTS TO: Project ManagerKey Responsibilities Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on power systems and site infrastructure. Perform corrective actions for faults affecting uptime (generators, rectifiers, batteries, cooling, shelters, etc. ). Ensure maintenance activities are carried out to OEM and customer specifications. Ensure radio network availability of 99. 98% Emergency Fueling & Power Support Execute emergency fueling of BTS stations as per SLA timelines to prevent outages.
Track, monitor, and record fuel usage in the system with proper documentation. Safeguard resources and ensure accountability of all resources (fuel, spare parts, funds) issued and consumed. Repairs, Spares Utilization & Fault Rectification Troubleshoot and repair power and infrastructure faults Log all utilized spare parts (batteries, rectifiers, filters, etc. ) in the customer’s system with evidence of installation Ensure all repairs are logged with evidence (pictures, reports, parts replaced) in the customer’s site/system.
Escalate unresolved faults in line with procedures Documentation, Reporting & Invoicing Support Ensure all PMs, repairs, fueling events, spare parts used, and services rendered are logged into the customer’s site tools/portal in real time Maintain accurate company logs to reconcile with customer billing Submit complete service reports, fueling receipts, and checklists after each activity Safety & Compliance Adhere to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) guidelines in all maintenance and fueling tasks Ensure safe handling of tools, fuel, batteries, and electrical equipment Comply with environmental, client, and regulatory standards Coordination & Support Work closely with the NOC for monitoring alarms and resolving power-related issues Liaise with logistics and spare parts teams to ensure availability of materials Support rollout teams in power and infrastructure upgrades when required Performing any other related duties assigned to you by your supervisor from time to timeQualifications & Experience Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Telecommunications Engineering.
3 years’ experience in Telecom power & Infrastructure Maintenance. 3 years’ experience in driving manual vehicles is a must Flexibility to travelSkills & Competencies Strong troubleshooting skills in telecom power systems. High integrity in handling spares and fuel accountability. Strong documentation/reporting ability. Good communication and coordination skills.
