This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking professional to join and lead a dynamic team to achieve operational excellence.Job DescriptionOperational LeadershipManage day-to-day operations of the Finance Service Centre, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactionsDevelop/enhance and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and service deliveryTeam ManagementLead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growthConduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team membersProcess ImprovementIdentify and implement best practices in financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger managementMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency and enhance service quality Stakeholder CollaborationAct as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring their financial service needs are met effectivelyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and compliance initiativesFinancial ReportingEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis, supporting management decision-makingOversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial deliverablesCompliance and Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and financial policiesIdentify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard financial integrityRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relatedProfessional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA or any equivalent) is desired, but not a mustMinimum 9 years of working experience in finance or accounting, with a proven track record of growing, developing and leading a large teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details and accuracyExcellent leadership and team management capabilities, including the ability to influence and collaborate effectively to engage and influence stakeholders from diverse backgroundSolid understanding of financial regulation and compliance requirementsBig 4 accounting firm experience is desired, but not a must
