Join our team to help shape the future of fashion and drive financial success in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.Job Summary:The Finance Assistant at Roland Mouret will be responsible for the bookkeeping of day-to-day financial operations within the finance department, transactional work on purchase and sales ledgers, and assistance with month-end closure including journals. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years in a similar role, confident with double-entry accounting and excel, having strong attention to detail and enthusiastic and positive approach to learning and operating in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Purchase ledger: Take ownership of purchase ledger processes from invoice processing to payment remittance.Sales ledger: Assist Credit Controller with daily invoice administration, cash allocation and reporting processes.Month-end: Prepare and maintain of workings and schedules for the management accounts, perform regular and ad hoc reconciliations and query management.Support for Finance Controller: Collaborate with the Finance Controller to streamline financial operations.Audit: Assist in providing external auditors with supporting information.Taxation: Help with preparation of UK VAT returns and quarterly submissions.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to provide financial support and ensure consistent flow of information.Project Support: Provide financial support and analysis for various tasks and initiatives.
