As we continue to expand, we are seeking talented professionals to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of transforming the financial services ecosystem across Africa.SummaryThe Finance Associate will support the Finance Team in executing daily financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring effective financial control across the business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, bank reconciliations, and general finance operations, preferably within a fintech, bank, or financial services environment. Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in line with company policies.Prepare, review, and reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting.Support treasury operations, including settlements, transfers, and monitoring cash positions.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation and ledgers.Track expenses, raise payment requests, and process vendor invoices.Assist in preparing financial reports, management accounts, and audit schedules.Work closely with internal teams to resolve finance-related queries and reconciliation issues.Support compliance with statutory financial regulations and internal financial controls.Participate in system improvements and process optimization initiatives within the finance function. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.2–3 years of experience in finance operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or similar roles.Prior experience in fintech, banking, or other financial institutions is a strong advantage.Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting/ERP systems.Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reconciliations.Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.Strong attention to detail, integrity, and a commitment to accuracy.Ability to work in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.Experience using digital finance tools, payment platforms, or fintech systems.Basic knowledge of tax regulations and statutory payments.Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA, or in progress) will be an added advantage.
