Our goal is to optimise performance, boost profitability, and deliver sustainable growth for your property.Ensuring that VAT compliance is maintained and the company is not exposed to any riskEnsuring timely payments of vendor invoices, while managing working capitalAdhering to a strict month end deadline, with accuracy and completeness of all dutiesEnforcing the controls and absolute accuracy of the petty cash functionEnsuring Accounts Payable reconciliations are performed on a weekly and monthly basisVendor account reconciliations to identify and investigate anomaliesIntroducing a comprehensive document management systemEnsuring that the Delegated Authorities are followed before payments are madeRecording to the correct ledger/cost centre is maintained with absolute accuracyMaintaining and developing relationships with existing and new suppliersWorking alongside the Financial Controller to continually improve the internal controls in the Requisition to Payment cycleWorking with the key Department procurement staff, Cost Accountants and Head of Departments to ensure cost controlMaximising the potential of the new AX Dynamics ERP system to assist with system-based controls, processes and reportingAd hoc projects at the request of the Financial Controller or Departmental Heads to improve efficiency, accuracy and reportingHave excellent experience of 2 - 3 years in Dubai within the Accounts Payable departmentBe able to think independently and constantly look for improvements in practice and policyBe flexible and efficient to meet deadlines and ad hoc tasksBe familiar with key accounting principles for recognition of Cost/Fixed Assets/Accruals/PrepaymentsShould have studied Bachelors of Finance (ACCA or CA qualification is an advantage)
