As a trusted business partner, the position is responsible for assisting the Finance Business Partners in providing financial insights, analysis and support to LMG executives and their leadership teams. Working closely with the Finance Business Partners, the Finance Business Partner Analyst will contribute to the business to drive profitability, improve financial performance, ensure the achievement of key strategic roles, while gaining valuable experience and developing their career within a supporting environment.Key responsibilities - Performing n depth financial analysis and reporting - identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementPreparing and enhancing regular financial reports on performance, providing insightful commentary and highlighting key performance areas and variances to be addressedDeveloping strong relationships across the business and with the Finance Business Partners, building a reputation as a trusted advisor to leaders to support critical decision makingAssisting in the budgeting and forecasting processes, developing budget models, uploading and downloading from Jedox, and playing a co-ordination role to ensure budgets are built and loaded within set timeframesSupporting the development of high quality forecasts informed by trend analysis and strategic objectivesProviding inputs to the development of strategic plans through the financial analysis, modelling key strategic initiatives and assessing financial feasibilityDriving process improvements within the finance team to enhance efficiency and accuracy of reporting and budget processesCollaborating closely with the Financial Control team to deliver high quality financial reporting and to identify financial risks and mitigation of thesePerforming ad hoc financial analysis and providing project and initiative support as required to address specific business mattersSkills and Experience you’ll bring to the role - Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or CA qualifiedProven experience (2+ years) in finance or analyst role, experience in financial services preferredExperience in stakeholder management, bringing clear communication, consulting and advisory skills to support the businessExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholdersStrong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysisProficient in general ledger and financial reporting systems, preferably with experience using the Jedox management accounting platformDemonstrated experience in building or updating financial dashboards and reportsDemonstrated ability to take initiative and work collaboratively within a team.Potential and ambition to develop leadership capabilities through project involvement or short term assignments.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsOur benefits - Flexibility & Balance:Hybrid & Flexible Working: Tailor your work week to suit your lifestyle.6 ‘Me’ Days: Extra leave to prioritise your wellbeing.Religious & Cultural Swap Leave: Trade a public holiday for one that’s meaningful to you.Extra Annual Leave: Need more time off?
